The San Joaquin River Conservancy blasted the use of composted human remains on local land, calling it a violation of state law as officials including Garry Bredefeld and Kacey Auston‑Tibbetts demanded action. Bredefeld  joined the show and labeled the move a “stupid decision,” saying that while halting further compost is progress, the existing material still must be removed.
