Rams Day 3 picks are in and the UDFA class is signed. The 2024 Draft is a wrap, and the Rams seemed to have carried over some of the same methodologies from 2022 that propelled them to a 10-win season in 2023. But now, with a 1st round pick in Jared Verse, pairing him with his brother in Braden Fiske and truly bolstering up the defense from top-to-bottom, there's plenty of reasons to believe this team is going to be really tough to beat again in 2024. They have exactly what they need to put another really successful product on the field for us Rams fans once again. Shoutout to Coach McVay, Les Snead and the whole organization for giving us constant hope and reasons to believe.

Day 2 has come and gone, and the Rams added more talent to their front-7 in Braden Fiske (Mob Squad 2.0?), running back Blake Corum from Michigan (all he does is score touchdowns) and Kamren Kinchens from Miami, who we believe to be the steal of the entire draft. There's not much to be upset about if you're a Rams fan. Tons of logic behind each of their draft picks and they've addressed a ton of needs in just a few days. The young committee of pass rushers is going to be a TON of fun to watch, and how about how they bolstered up the secondary? Let's go win some football games.

After 8 long years, the Rams sat comfortably and drafted a pass rusher from Florida State at #19 overall. Jared Verse is an incredible edge prospect who is going to start immediately for the Los Angeles Rams, opposite of Byron Young who will be entering his 2nd year. The Rams continue to build out their young core and made a ton of Rams fans happy by sitting at 19, not trading away assets and taking the pass rusher with the highest floor in the draft. The 2024 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, and there's news coming out every day on players' projected draft slots, potential trades, and who fans want their favorite team to draft at the top. In reading through all of the odds, the tea leaves (meetings with players, previous Rams draft trends), and all of the great content that insiders across the league are putting out, we're really starting to come to some final conclusions. The Rams have kicked off their offseason program as of today, and the 2024 NFL Draft is just 10 days away! We looked at two specific factors when finalizing our 2024 draft selections: the direct message we received from Rams COO Kevin Demoff, and the recent comments from Vice President Tony Pastoors on how to re-build his defensive line. Instead of building it "from the inside out" with Aaron Donald, we think the Rams will have a committee of pass rushers (both interior defensive lineman and EDGE rushers) for this upcoming season who can all contribute in different ways. EVEN if the Rams prioritize offense at the top of the draft!

The Rams have traded up to #7 in our latest mock draft, thanks to a direct message received by someone pretty close to the organization. By no means is this definitive, but certainly sparks the idea of what it could mean and how much it would cost for the Rams to make the jump from 19th overall to 7th overall. After taking a player we loved (and many others love) at 7th, we dug deep and tried to find the 3 best players that we could get our hands on between rounds 2-5. The 2024 Draft is just 2 weeks away!

The Rams are in the process of getting through league meetings and are starting to get ready for the NFL Draft, which is now only one month away. We went through a specific mock scenario that didn't allow any trades and featured 11 players that we feel would be (for the majority) immediately impactful for the Rams in 2024. 

The Rams are now looking at life without Aaron Donald. They've signed a few great players to add to their secondary in Darious Williams and Kam "the Ram" Curl and they're hosting Tre'Davious White (former all-pro CB for the Bills) as of yesterday. They're doing some great things to add some recognizable stars to the back-end of their defense, but their front-7 is still going to be a concern heading into the season IF they do not properly address the EDGE position. We looked at the full 2024 UFA class, their implications to the salary cap, and what to expect next from Les Snead, Sean McVay and the Rams.

The greatest defensive player of all-time has decided to retire after 10 seasons. In this episode, we pay tribute to Aaron Donald, who played 10 incredible seasons in St. Louis and Los Angeles and won a Super Bowl with the Rams back in 2021. He’s an incredible player - perhaps the very best we’ve ever seen and ever will see, so we decided to properly pay him his respect throughout this episode. From there, we look to see how it impacted the cap for 2024 (and beyond) and how the Rams will re-shift their focus in the upcoming draft.

The Rams have been a bit more quiet over the last 48 or so hours, with the exception of signing Darious Williams to a 3-year deal, and tendering Michael Hoecht. Outside of that, the Rams have watched a handful of top-tier EDGE rushers sign massive deals, while they're sitting comfortably and are waiting for the market to continue shaking out. There are still players available we have in mind: specifically, trading for Haason Reddick from Philadelphia, or signing Nick Scott to a relatively inexpensive 2-year deal to be a veteran presence on the backend.

The Rams have made some pretty significant moves over the past few days, and particularly TODAY in signing Jonah Jackson and Colby Parkinson. Prior to this, the Rams re-signed Kevin Dotson and Demarcus Robinson and have tendered Alaric Jackson and Ronnie Rivers. It's a strong indication that the Rams are already off and running on their 2024 plan, and it's just a matter of time before more news breaks in relation to how the Rams are planning to continue building out their 2024 roster.

The Rams have been in the news recently: not because they famously didn't attend the "workout portion" of the combine again. But because they recently tried to add Mike Evans before the Buccaneers locked him up for 2 more years, AND they met with Rome Odunze, WR out of Washington who is a guaranteed lock to go within the top-12. It suggests that something is brewing... something flashy is on it's way. The Rams could be in business to trade up for an offensive player, and add a big-name on defense in free agency. OR, the could stay put. OR, they could trade back. Only time will tell!

The Rams have kicked off the 2024 offseason by cutting Brian Allen, and re-signing Demarcus Robinson to a 1-year, $5MM deal. Sean McVay also discussed working out a deal with Coleman Shelton and his representation in a recent press conference, as well as the future of Joe Noteboom. While this was all happening, the NFL broke news that the salary cap is increasing over $30MM for the 2024 season, and the Rams hired Sean Desai from Philadelphia to work with the offense/offensive coaches from a defensive perspective. The 2024 season already feels well under way.

The Rams made a final decision on Brian Allen and released him from the team while saving a total of $4.9MM towards their 2024 salary cap. They took on some dead money, but it’s definitely the first domino to fall for what’s set up to be mayhem once free agency officially begins. They’ve also finalized their coaching staff with a total of 8 new hires, and the connections between each hire are proof that Sean McVay and Les Snead are preparing to go all-in once again for the 2024 season.

The Rams have officially hired three new coaches to their staff in Giff Smith (defensive line coach/run game coordinator), John Streicher (coordinator of football strategy) and Chili Davis (special teams assistant). All of which will serve a significant purpose as Sean McVay has to re-build his staff for the 100th time. Additionally, we previewed four more draft prospects (not top picks), but kids who could potentially fall into later rounds. One of which is already friends with Puka Nacua, and another (QB) may be controversial, based on how QB's are being evaluated in this years draft.

The Rams are in a unique position: one where they have their 1st round pick for the 1st time since 2016 when they selected Jared Goff. They also have 3 other top-100 picks, so we went ahead and started digging into who the Rams could select with any of their top-100 picks. Obviously, some of these players are on the rise and may be out of consideration for the Rams. But, over the next 2 and a half months, players are going to be rising and falling. The Rams know where to look, though. And they'll be sure to find a number of contributors who fit their scheme/identity.

Rams hire Chris Shula (only 37 years old) to be their new defensive coordinator, who is somebody they have a TON of familiarity with. He's an internal hire that has 7 years of coaching experience under Sean McVay and has successfully coached in multiple roles throughout his career with the Rams. He has coached everything from the inside linebackers to the outside linebackers to the defensive backs. He was Sean McVay’s college teammate and roommate, and actually lived in Sean McVay’s HOUSE back in 2017 when McVay bought his 4600 square foot, 6-bedroom house in Encino Hills, California. It was reported that they used to have beers together on the balcony or by the fire to talk strategy.

The Rams are currently on the hunt for a new defensive coordinator. They're also in the process of filling out other staff needs, as Sean McVay's coaching staff continues to get poached year after year. Raheem Morris is taking Zac Robinson with him to Atlanta, coach Henny is already at USC, and the Rams are going to be interviewing Brandon Staley and Dennard Wilson next week (based on what has been reported). Changes are coming, and it's fair to trust that the front office and coaching staff will bring in the right members to fit their culture.

For the Rams to continue their success in the 2024-2025 season, all they'll need is for Les Snead to continue doing what he has been doing since Sean McVay arrived in Los Angeles. But more specifically: capitalizing on some of the foundations they've set forth coming out of 2023. That means continuing to find talent in the draft, but also shuffling some things around (Restructures, Extensions) to create additional cap room for the upcoming season so that the Rams have legitimate spending flexibility in free agency. Going after a top EDGE, or piece in their secondary would be huge. We'll see what happens: but wanted to lay out some "IF" scenario's/hypotheticals for you guys to chew on! The Rams have some big shoes to fill with Eric Henderson (defensive line coach) already at USC, and Raheem Morris likely on his way out after a TON of head coaching interviews have already been lined up. We looked at a few potential replacements (one from Baltimore and one from Dallas that we like, specifically) as well as some KEY pieces (like Brian Burns or Josh Allen) that could be the first step towards a VERY successful offseason for the Rams. Also, Nick's Picks is back for some divisional round locks!

The Rams have a few new faces of their franchise in Kobie Turner, Puka Nacua and Steve Avila. How do these players impact the Rams' 2024 draft strategy, and how they're going to approach free agency in the coming weeks? Essentially, we're looking to find more of what Kobie, Puka and Avila brought to the Rams in 2023. But, of other similar positions of need, like the front-7, X receiver, and RG.

The Rams unfortunately fell a bit short last night, and it was due to two major reasons: their lack of red zone efficiency, and the defense's inability to adjust until the 2nd half. Both of which have been pretty significant issues throughout the season, but the Rams were very close to being able to overcome it and advance to the divisional round. Perhaps the Packers winning spiked our expectations, but the Rams holistically over-exceeded expectations and will be READY TO GO for the 2024 season. Super Bowl aspirations are officially back on the table for next year.

This is a fun week for Lions and Rams fans. Specifically, as it relates to the Quarterbacks and all of the parallels that exist between the two players and franchises. Before previewing the most anticipated Wildcard game in NFL History (in our eyes), we decided to take a deep dive into the lives of each quarterbacks before and after the trade in February of 2021 unfolded. Jared Goff is on a mission to prove Sean McVay wrong, while Matthew Stafford couldn't be more excited for his trip back to Detroit. Both players deserve a ton of love, but there's differences in the two that made Sean McVay pull the trigger in hopes of another trip to the Super Bowl.

The Rams' playoff destiny officially begins in Detroit, as the Rams beat the 49ers for the 1st time after losing to them in 9 consecutive regular season games (can't forget about the NFC Championship, too). But what Carson Wentz did, under Sean McVay and Mike LaFleur's leadership, was truly heroic and it simultaneously allowed our favorite rookie ever in Puka Nacua to break not only the receptions record for a rookie, but also the receiving yards record which was more than 63 years old. It seems everything came together for the Rams at the right time this season, and there's a belief amongst Rams fans that this game in Detroit is going to be more pressure-packed for the home team than it is for the visiting Rams. CHEERS TO AN OVER-ACHIEVING REGULAR SEASON.

The Rams are traveling to San Francisco with playoff seeding on the line. They've decided to take gambles in starting Carson Wentz and sitting a majority of their core in Aaron Donald, Ernest Jones, Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp and Kyren Williams (while SF is presumably electing to do something similar, with Purdy & McCaffrey already out). They're also somewhat dependent on the Bears finding a way to beat Green Bay in Lambeau Field, because it then guarantees the Rams are locked into the 6th seed and will likely have the favorable match-up that the world desires in Detroit. Let's see how it all pays off, and if resting their starters pays dividends during Wild Card weekend.

The Rams are officially PLAYOFF BOUND! All thanks to an incredible foundation that was introduced back in the summer by Sean McVay, as well as Les Snead working his magic late in the draft to find future core pieces for this roster. What comes next is a mystery as the Rams have already exceeded our expectations for the season. But, no matter how this season ends, there is ZERO doubt that the Rams will be hungry for another Super Bowl run in 2024.

The Rams are currently a heavy favorite to make the playoffs prior to Sunday's game, and just need to handle their own business (get a win on the road) and hope Seattle loses in order to clinch a playoff spot. No game in this league is every easy, though as the Eagles learned the hard way on Christmas when Tyrod Taylor had an opportunity to tie the game in the Giants' final possession. Regardless, with the Rams playing as well as they are, its really difficult to find reasons why they wouldn't win this game. If they play their game, it won't be as close as the spread suggests.

The Rams took care of business in their biggest game of the season. On Thursday night, they played host to the New Orleans Saints (now 7-8) in what was essentially a playoff game. The score may have been somewhat close in the end, but the Rams were pretty much dominant throughout the entire game. They're plenty poised to make some noise in the final weeks of the season/early in the playoffs, on the backs of their weight-bearing walls, as well as their draft class and veteran free agents.

The Rams are in the process of preparing for their biggest game of the season. On Thursday night, they'll play host to the New Orleans Saints (also 7-7) with massive playoff implications on the line. If the Rams win, their playoff odds skyrocket and their chances of being the 6th or 7th seed in the NFC are very much real. A loss makes the road to the post-season MUCH more difficult, as well as having to face the 49ers in the final week of the season. But, with the Eagles' recent loss, that game may not have a ton of meaning. The bottom line -- the Rams need to get the job done on Thursday night. And the rest will take care of itself.

It's no secret, the Rams are making a legitimate playoff push at 7-7 with 3 games to play. The relationship with Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp continues to grow stronger, as Matthew Stafford is clearly playing some of the best football in his career. Kyren Williams (despite the two fumbles) is as effective in this offense as Todd Gurley once was. The Rams' offensive line is also doing it's job and staying healthy for the majority. They're truly now executing on their plan set in April, which was for the offense to carry the weight for the defense and special teams. It's all coming together at the perfect time.

The Rams (6-7) are playing host as 7-point favorites to the Washington Commanders (4-9), who are coming off a bye (the Rams’ 4th opponent this season that’s coming off a bye) and have given up an average of 38 points in four straight losses. The once .500 Washington Commanders lost EDGE help at the deadline in Montez Sweat (in Chicago) and Chase Young (in San Francisco) on Oct. 31st and have gone 1-4 since with their only win being over the Patriots back in early November. This game is absolutely a must-win for the Rams, in hopes they can string together 3-straight and steal a Wildcard playoff spot.

The Rams (now 6-7) had put together an impressive streak of 3 straight wins against Seattle, Arizona and Cleveland to get back to .500. But, the Ravens proved they were a tougher task, and a walk-off win on a punt return (with an obvious missed block in the back call) ended up being the difference. It’s important to not get caught up on the final result of this game, because the Rams are playing some really good football right now. And with the Commanders, Saints and Giants on deck, there’s no reason to suggest they can’t win all three games and find themselves in one of the final NFC playoff spots. Exactly where we expected them to be when the season started.

The Rams' offense took roughly 9-12 weeks to come together, and their inexperienced defense is starting to follow suit. They've also (finally) solidified the kicker position for a potential post-season run. They're now facing arguably their toughest match-up yet (the Baltimore Ravens), with the Ravens front-7 playing as well as any in football right now. How can the Rams put together a gameplan strong enough to remain within 1 possession in the 4th quarter? From there (if they can execute), they have a legitimate opportunity to continue shocking those who claimed they were officially in "tank mode" after losing to the Packers. 

The Rams have now won 3 straight games, leaving them very much in playoff contention as the current 8 seed in the NFC. Let's not kid ourselves: this team has been really impressive and is playing complimentary football over the last three weeks for the first time this season. The tanking narrative is starting to slip away, and Rams fans are starting to focus-in on the final stretch of the season. The question is: can this current roster actually pull off a playoff push, or will they fall short? We've been on record all season saying they're good enough to grab the 6th or 7th seed in the NFC.

The Rams are in a position to grab the 7th seed in the NFC and win three games in a row for the first time this season. The Cleveland Browns and (potentially) former Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco are in their way, as the Rams are going to have to be smart with how they approach their gameplan if they want to come away with a win. The best way would be to win consistently at the line of scrimmage, and negate the pressure that Myles Garrett and ZaDarius Smith cause in the pass game by heavily utilizing Kyren Williams and Royce Freeman. Oh, and our QB can make some throws when he has to, too.

Was this as close to a perfect game as this Rams roster can play? We're thinking it was. Not only have the Rams now won back-to-back games for the first time this season (in dominant fashion, hanging 37 points on the Cardinals), but they’ve now swept a division rival in back-to-back weeks. Led by Kyren Williams' heroic effort, it’s the first time they’ve won back-to-back games since weeks 2 and 3 of last year. Is this Rams team poised to make a bit of a run come prepared to play two AFC teams over the next two weeks? Only time will tell. But, they showed some promise today.

The Rams are heading into Arizona as underdogs (as it stands right now), which is interesting considering the Rams have handled Arizona the last 8 times they’ve traveled there. But, this Arizona Cardinals team in Week 12 is completely different from the team we saw in Week 6, primarily due to players like Kyler Murray, James Conner, and Budda Baker. When we talked through the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6 and their inability to move the ball in the second half, we knew they’d give us a better effort when they were fully healthy later on in the season. But, in a “re-tooling year”, the Rams have a unique opportunity to sweep division rivals in back-to-back weeks. Can they pull it off?

The Rams haven't played good football over the last 5-6 weeks. There's no way around it. But for some reason, they always seem to do just enough against the Seattle Seahawks. Sure, a ton of their offense was aided by the 130 penalty yards Seattle committed. But, that doesn't mean the Rams stepped on the gas (offensively and defensively) in the 2nd half when they were down their Super Bowl MVP and Triple Crown winner. This win puts the Rams back "in the hunt" which may be controversial to the fans who are hopeful they're "tanking" in effort to get a top pick. 

The Rams are a pretty confusing team right now. Are we a solid football team if we string together a few wins over the next few weeks? Do we NOT want to win, in hopes our draft slot is better? There's a lot of controversy surrounding what the Rams will or won't do to end this season. All of that aside, it's not too much to ask if you want to watch them play competitive football against a team they've historically played well against (under Sean McVay). They're getting very important players back and should be able to stay competitive through the remainder of this season. But one thing is for sure: the next two games will set the tone for where this season will net out.

The Rams made a few roster moves ahead of their bye week, inclusive of: waiving Brett Rypien, Dresser Winn, Myles Gaskin and signing former 2nd overall pick Carson Wentz. Wentz has had some insane success and some major downfalls in just 7 short seasons — with plenty of controversy tied to him. But nothing that should stop McVay from getting the best out of him. And because it’s a bye week, we leaned in on Nick’s Picks in hopes to make the fans some money this weekend.

The Rams fell to the Green Bay Packers in dramatic fashion, which makes for embarrassing losses in back-to-back weeks. Fans are angry because they felt like they were originally sold optimism by the coaching staff on the 2023 season when in reality, they all somewhat knew that the Rams were lacking in the talent department (with the exception of their three “weight bearing walls”). But to struggle this badly after showing SOME promise in the first few weeks of the season is difficult to digest. We’ll talk through all of the important questions and look for solutions on how to get through this season -- and mentally prepare for next.

The Rams were silent at the trade deadline yesterday and signed Dresser Winn as insurance as they prepare to travel to Lambeau to take on the Green Bay Packers. If Matthew Stafford is healthy enough to play in this game (is currently dealing with a gnarly UCL sprain), then the Rams have a legitimate chance to go into their bye week with a 4-5 record, and a real opportunity to re-set themselves in preparation for a tricky back-half schedule and 2 divisional opponents right out the gate. Let's see what kind of team this is, and if they can rebound like they should. 

The Rams were flat out dominated by the Dallas Cowboys, 43-20 with the Cowboys fresh off their bye week, in their home stadium. Yes, the Rams have had some tough breaks when it comes to the schedule. But, when it comes to execution and situational play-calling, it feels like the Rams simply need to be better. And when it's so poor to the point it puts your starting quarterback (and 1 of 3 "weight bearing walls") in jeopardy of serious injury, it's time to start re-considering the game-plan. The defense, as a whole, needs to be better too but how much can you ask of a unit that is simply lacking talent

The Rams are in a difficult spot: getting ready for the 4-2 Dallas Cowboys, who are coming off of a bye: very similar to what we had to deal with against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Regardless, the Rams have a few mistakes they can correct in this game that we believe could very much propel them to victory. Simple offensive tweaks (stay with the quick game, stay balanced) and defensively finding ways to generate pressure on Dak Prescott, who has sat back comfortably in the pocket this season. A great match-up is very much ahead of us...

It felt like the Rams had a legitimate opportunity to come away with a win today at SoFi Stadium, where the Rams hosted the now 4-2 Pittsburgh Steelers. Due to a few mistakes down the stretch and very obvious deficiencies on Special Teams, the Rams weren't able to capitalize on as many opportunities as the Steelers did. Missed FG's put Pittsburgh in favorable field position. Penalties and question marks in our young secondary led to big (late) conversions. The officiating was questionable at best. The Rams have nothing to do but briefly reflect on this loss, then look ahead to Dallas.

The Rams are in unfamiliar territory: they're the favorite in back-to-back weeks with the Steelers headed to SoFi this weekend. It doesn't come without a price... the Rams lost Derion Kendrick to an arrest and Kyren Williams + Ronnie Rivers to injury. They turned that right around by signing Darrell Henderson and Myles Gaskin to fill the vacancy and stand by the comments of the offensive line (after Sunday's win). Aside of that, the Steelers are on a bit of a rollercoaster: winning 3 of 5 games but with a statistically "bad" defense, and an underwhelming offense (despite having plenty of skill players on paper). It's going to be an INTERESTING match-up: the first of McVay and Tomlin since 2019. Strap in!

This was a must-win game, and the Rams got the job done against the Arizona Cardinals at home to improve to 3-3. As we work through this episode, we'll chat through the mysterious scripted series to start the game, the "tale of two halves"/McVay's big "adjustment", Cooper Kupp being back at full speed, Kyren Williams' incredible 2nd half (+ injury news), the offensive line being focal to Sean McVay at halftime, the defenses second-half adjusment that created just enough pressure to win, and the Rams' position in the NFC currently. There's hope to be had, and no tank in sight.

The Rams are in a must-win situation on Sunday, with both James Conner and Budda Baker out of the line-up for Arizona. The Cardinals' defense is giving up 350 yards per game and is ranked towards the bottom in defending against the pass AND defending against the run. So, it should be an easy win for the Rams as 6.5pt favorites at home, right? Well, the Arizona Cardinals are playing better than expected, with a win against Dallas and hard-fought back-to-back weeks against the 49ers and the Bengals. Now, they're tasked with a division rival that has owned the match-up since Sean McVay got on the plane, headed to LAX and started coaching the Rams. Is it finally time to get right at home?

In a weekend that united the whole Rams Brothers team, the Rams fell to the Eagles, 23-14 at home. While the Rams' fans were representing, there were tons of Eagles fans to balance out the energy in the stadium -- and in most scenarios, it favored the away team. Traveling fan bases are hard to prevent but becoming one dimensional in the second half and being afraid to run the ball when you fall behind is correctable. This young team has faced an incredibly difficult schedule to start the season, but now it's time to start putting the pieces together with back-to-back home games on the horizon. The difficulty of this 5-game sample size is going to pay dividends for the Rams in the back-half of the season

The Rams are finally back home after a 2-week stretch of AFC road games. When they enter SoFi Stadium on Sunday, they'll be met with the reigning NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles, led by Jalen Hurts. The Eagles' offense may not be quite where it was last year, but their defense front is much improved and are ready to put pressure on Matthew Stafford, his injured hip, and the remainder of the Rams' offense. We listed off three very important keys to victory (as 4-point underdogs), and of course tackled Nick's Picks for the week (on a very difficult week to judge).
