R&B MoneyHollywood icon Morris Chestnut joins the R&B Money Podcast for a conversation about more than three decades of film, television, music, and longevity.
Morris takes us back to the role that changed everything—Ricky Baker in Boyz n the Hood—and reflects on working with John Singleton, becoming a leading man in Hollywood, and building a career that would eventually include classics like The Best Man, The Brothers, Two Can Play That Game, Think Like a Man and The Best Man Holiday.
Navigating Hollywood as a leading man, being labeled a sex symbol, staying disciplined, and what it takes to remain relevant for more than 30 years.
And there’s an R&B Money connection happening right now: Morris returns as attorney Corey Cash for Season 4 of Hulu’s Reasonable Doubt, while Tank makes his debut as a series regular, playing wealthy R&B artist Eric Cropper—a longtime client of Jax whose problems become central to the new season. #RnBMoney
