(00:00-27:06) – Query & Company opens a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the chaotic ending to yesterday’s FIFA World Cup match between Argentina and Egypt. Jake draws parallels to the greatest of all-time discussion with Lionel Messi finding a way to deliver in the final minutes of the match the bring his country level.

(27:06-37:36) – Jake and Eddie tease some an exciting announcement that will be coming on Monday for the show and preview their upcoming segment later in the show for today’s power rankings segment!  

(37:36-46:33) – Jake Query welcomes our colleague from Telemundo, Ray Lyman, onto the program to help educate Jake on what the broadcaster for Telemundo was saying during the Lionel Messi goal that tied the match at 2-2 for Argentina yesterday. They also discuss what is going on in his hometown, Venezuela.   

(46:33-1:10:29) – Mike Niziolek from the Bloomington Herald-Times joins Query & Company to give updates on Indiana basketball and football. His conversation with Jake starts by discussing the roster construction for Darian DeVries in year two in comparison to year one and the upcoming Peru trip for the Hoosiers. They transition to what Curt Cignetti’s team will miss with a lot of key players that set the foundation no longer on the team and tries to decipher how different the offense will look with Josh Hoover quarterbacking IU in comparison to Kurtis Rourke and Fernando Mendoza.     

(1:10:29-1:32:15) – After debuting the Query & Company Power Rankings segment yesterday, Jake and Eddie bring it back today because Jake’s brain started thinking about the most transcendent, or impactful, sporting events that people are invested in for a particular period. Jake and Eddie list their top five events.

(1:32:15-1:33:33) – Hour number two of Query & Company concludes with Jake and Eddie previewing the final hour of today’s show!

(1:33:33-1:57:55) – After listening to Eddie’s explanation as to why he has the FIFA World Cup as the most transcendent sporting event, Jake has changed his mind on how impactful these three weeks of high level soccer are. He goes back to watching the final minutes of yesterday’s match for Argentina against Egypt. HE also plays what the Telemundo broadcast sounded like when Lionel Messi leveled the game at 2-2 in the eighty-second minute.

(1:57:55-2:10:46) – WNBA & Indiana Fever analyst, Debbie Antonelli, makes an appearance on Query & Company to share what Caitlin Clark’s status is for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Sparks and previews the game itself. Jake also asks how the Fever handle all of the noise behind the scenes and believes the team took a major stride forward with its defense in their win against the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday night.
