NBA Finals Game Four Reaction + Will Alec Pierce Be Ready for Week One? Stephen Holder, Tony East, Ralph Reiff Join!

(00:00-26:54) – Query & Company opens a Thursday with Jake Query questioning why producer Eddie Garrison is making a custom open around the New York Knicks in Indianapolis. They end up highlighting some of the key stretches in the game that resulted in the San Antonio Spurs losing game four of the NBA Finals. Jake reminisces on his time growing up in Broad Ripple after Eddie shared his plans last night.

(26:54-37:51) – Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce went into detail yesterday following mandatory minicamp practice on the decision to have surgery and why he had it. Jake plays what he said and weighs in by explaining it’s not Pierce’s fault with how some fans are taking the news.

(37:51-46:30) – Jake and Eddie conclude the first hour of the program with more discussion about Alec Pierce’s decision to have surgery in March. Should they sign a wide receiver to add depth to the room?

(46:30-1:13:07) – Tony East from Circle City Spin & Locked On Pacers joins Jake Query to talk all things NBA Finals and Indiana Fever. Their conversation starts by discussing what the pivotal point was in game four that resulted in the Spurs losing to the Knicks and if the Spurs can come back. As it pertains to the Fever, Tony explains why they have struggled to find consistent production from their big three and why this upcoming three-week stretch will make or break their season.     

(1:13:07-1:21:58) – Now that Alec Pierce has spoken on the timeline for his injury, should Colts fans be alarmed that he may not be ready at the start of training camp next month? Jake opines on it.

(1:31:38-1:55:27) – ESPN.com’s Stephen Holder joins Jake Query to discuss what Alec Pierce’s recovery timeline looks like from his ankle surgery and if he anticipates Daniel Jones to be fully cleared by the time training camp starts at the end of next month. Was this surgery for Pierce anticipated and what was the specific injury? Plus, Stephen gives Jake some fashion advice for something that he has to do this weekend.
