(00:00-25:43) – The first edition of Query & Company with Jake Query and Jimmy Cook begins with them recapping their weekend, how the conversation for the Colts has shifted away from Jonathan Taylor not being out there for the Colts, and their overall thoughts on Anthony Richardson not starting in the second preseason game.

(25:43-41:17) – ESPN.com’s Stephen Holder joins Query & Company as the shows first guest to decipher what Jim Irsay said regarding Jonathan Taylor during Saturday’s preseason game, which player had a decent outing in the second preseason game for the Colts, if the starters will play at all during the third preseason game, and ponders if Chris Ballard, Jim Irsay, Shane Steichen, and Jonathan Taylor are all on the same page.

(41:17-49:48) – Jake and Jimmy close out the first hour of the show with Jake comparing the situation Jonathan Taylor is in with Eric Dickerson. He explains the impact Dickerson had negatively on Jeff George’s development.

(49:48-1:12:48) – The second hour of the program starts off with Jake sharing how he became a season ticket holder for Clemson football and transitions to the passing of Bill Vukovich Jr. by sharing a story of him crossing paths with him on a random plane flight in Dallas. Finally, Jake asks Jimmy for his outlook on the season for Notre Dame with Sam Hartman as their new starting quarterback.

(1:12:48-1:27:47) – During a break earlier in the show, Jake, Jimmy, and producer Eddie Garrison were discussing what their favorite genres of music are. This sparked the three of them to get into a debate of how to define classic rock. Jake finally convinces Jimmy as to how it should be defined.

(1:27:47-1:35:43) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Jake and Jimmy discussing how vocal he’s been in the recent years stemming from speaking out against Dan Snyder to tweeting about the running backs.

(1:35:43-2:02:34) – Bob Kravitz of Substack joins Query and Company with Jake Query and Jimmy Cook to highlight his conversation with Peyton Manning regarding Anthony Richardson becoming the next Colts quarterback, how important it was for Manning to take every rep in the preseason when he played, how Bob feels more comfortable with Anthony Richardson running the Shane Steichen offense over Gardner Minshew, and if it’s actually beneficial to Richardson to not have a lot of collegiate experience.

(2:02:34-2:15:41) – For the first time in the show, Jake and Jimmy spend some time discussing the performance of Sam Ehlinger and Gardner Minshew in the second preseason game. They also touch on the decision for the Colts not to start Anthony Richardson or the rest of the starters.

(2:15:42-2:25:36) – Today’s show ends with Jake revealing his track record of radio conspiracy theories. Additionally, he and Jimmy discuss how soon Saudi Arabia gets involved in football or basketball.
