View descriptionShare

(00:00-25:34) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison chatting about the NCAA deciding to expand the tournament field despite the fact that a lot of people are against that notion. Jake also felt something this morning when he was getting ready that he couldn’t explain, and that’s because he had a memory pop back into his mind.

(25:34-36:48) – Two-time Indy 500 champion, Al Unser Jr., joins Jake Query in studio to discuss the extra jolt of energy you get as a driver when the month of May starts, the mindset of a driver when they realize that they have a car that they feel they can win the race, admits that once he won the race is when he really started enjoying going to IMS, and previews an upcoming event that he will be a part of.

(36:48-48:11) – The first hour of Query & Company concludes with Jake Query discussing the news that the IHSAA is exploring NIL rules for its student-athletes.

(48:11-1:16:06) – Tony East from Forbes Sports, Locked On Pacers, and Circle City Spin makes an appearance on Query & Company and his conversation with Jake starts out by discussing the new lottery rules the NBA will be using moving forward because they don’t help teams that are struggling. They also discuss the formal decision the Fever made with picking up Caitlin Clark’s option for next season and discuss if the new WNBA CBA has built in options for team’s to be in full control of a player like the NBA and NFL franchises do.

(1:16:06-1:28:24) – Last night Jake’s brain was moving all over the place because he couldn’t sleep. He asks Eddie for the top six American tennis players that have ever played the sport because Jake never sees or hears anything about tennis anymore.

(1:28:24-1:35:04) – Hour number two of Query & Company concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing another element to the possibility of high school athletes earning money through NIL and providing a couple of stipulations that could be in place.

(1:35:04-2:02:03) – The final hour of Query & Company starts with Jkae Query and producer Eddie Garrison going back and forth about the future of the Indianapolis Colts with Daniel Jones only signing for two years because they are under an immense amount of pressure to win next season. Plus, Jake goes back to where he was one year ago because the NBA Playoffs have not had the same level of interest and entertainment as last year.

(2:02:03-2:20:06) – Conor Daly calls into the show briefly before heading back out to the track for open testing for the Indianapolis 500. He tells Jake how much he likes the car that he will be driving and previews the upcoming event that he has with JMV on Friday night. Jake Query is also joined by Ralph Reiff from Reiff Executive Performance Solutions to share some tidbits on how you should be preparing yourself for the mini marathon this weekend, how you should dress for the mini with temperatures being a little chilly to start, and explains how to minimize soreness after you complete the marathon.

(2:20:06-2:23:56) – Today’s show ends with JMV joining Jake Query in studio to preview his show!
