(00:00-30:53) – Query & Company kicks off on a Thursday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison talking about Jonathan Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts agreeing to terms on a 2-year $44 million extension. Who does this extension benefit more? Plus, Jake has developed some more thoughts on the situation Sophie Cunningham finds herself in following yesterday’s comments.

(30:53-39:40) – The FIBA World Cup is not too far away, and the Indiana Fever will have two players and a coach representing Team USA! Jake and Eddie discuss that and wonder how that might impact the team’s playoff run.

(39:40-47:45) – Jake Query concludes the first hour of the show by spotlighting a story that he will talk about a little bit more later in the show.    

(47:45-1:10:52) – The Indianapolis Colts locked in their franchise running back for two more seasons earlier this afternoon. Jake wonders what this means for the Colts going into the final year of Chris Ballard’s contract and why Taylor would take a shorter deal versus trying to cash in even bigger now.

(1:10:52-1:26:01) – Elwood High School’s football coach Sam Mireles joins Query & Company to discuss the future of high school sports with his Panthers team in need of players in order to have a season. Jake asks him about how technology is having a negative impact on kids wanting to play sports when they can play it themselves, and how some kids don’t want to participate when they know they aren’t going to win most of their games.

(1:26:01-1:34:18) – Hour number two of Query & Company concludes with Jake and Eddie poking fun at the new Purdue Athletic Director, Tommy McClelland, for the egg on face comment that he made during his introductory press conference.  

(1:34:18-2:02:49) – Tony East from Locked On Pacers & Circle City Spin joins Query & Company to recap his vacation overseas last week and chat about the latest happenings with the Indiana Fever. They preview tonight’s game against the Las Vegas Aces, why Sunday’s loss to Minnesota was actually very encouraging in the big picture, and if the Fever are becoming more sufficient defensively to make a run for the WNBA Championship.
