Football Friday! Jonathan Taylor Trade Deadline Approach + Notre Dame vs Miami & Sectional Championship Preview!

(00:00-26:12) – Query & Company opens on a Football Friday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the Jonathan Taylor trade saga. Does he have more value for the Colts on the team or what he can get them? Plus, what do the Indianapolis Colts need to root for this weekend in the NFL ahead of Tuesday’s deadline?

(26:12-40:22) – The IndyStar’s Kyle Neddenriep joins Query & Company on a Football Friday to preview tonight’s sectional championship matchups across the state of Indiana. Can anyone take down Brownsburg before Lucas Oil Stadium? Jake asks him about Kyle Ralph’s ability to constantly have a smaller sized school in contention for a state championship despite playing up. Kyle also touches on the heartbreaking story out of South Adams.

(40:22-43:14) – Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison conclude the first hour of the show by trying to figure out what Jake should do this weekend with Shannon out of town.

(43:14-1:09:17) – The South Bend Tribune’s Tom Noie makes an appearance on Query & Company on a Football Friday to preview Notre Dame versus Miami. Can the Fighting Irish match the physicality of the Hurricanes without Malachi Toney? What does the injury report look like for the Fighting Irish defense? Can Marcus Freeman’s team pull off a win with CJ Carr being average?

(1:09:17-1:17:39) – Every Friday on Query & Company, Jake shares a good for the heart story sponsored by Franciscan Health. This week, Jake doesn’t share a story, but spreads awareness about heart health and all of the various things that will be available for people at Sunday’s Franciscan event.

(1:17:39-1:26:16) – Hour two of Query & Company wraps up with Jake connecting a text he received about play the pros from back in the day to the Indianapolis Colts trade deadline approach.

(1:26:16-1:50:38) – The final hour of Query & Company starts with Jake Query declaring that the Indianapolis Colts need to trade Jonathan Taylor by Tuesday’s 4pm trade deadline. Producer Eddie Garrison pushes back slightly because of the Colts having all of the leverage.

(1:50:38-2:01:55) – Kevin Bowen from The Fan Morning Show joins Jake Query from the Colts complex on a Football Friday brought to you by Outlaw Light to (briefly) preview Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. Would the Colts GM job be more tantalizing with more picks or Jonathan Taylor? Should the Colts be open to acquiring 2028 picks versus just looking for 2027?

(2:01:55-2:08:36) – The show closes out with JMV joining Jake to preview his show!
