Final Four Preview + NFL Owners Meetings Updates! Mike DeCourcy, Stephen Holder, and Scott Agness Join!

(00:00-24:58) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jake Query proposing a trivia question for producer Eddie Garrison pertaining to the four teams in the Final Four that will be traveling to Indianapolis. Jake also highlights a couple of things that he heard from Chris Ballard yesterday that he thought was worth sharing with you.   

(24:58-41:13) – ESPN’s Stephen Holder joins Query & Company from Phoenix to highlight some things he has learned in the last 24 hours about how the Colts brass feel about where their team is at heading into the NFL Draft. Jake asks Stephen about some NFL topics that have been discussed, highlights the importance of the potential referee situation for next season, and brings up the NFL allowing private equity funds to invest in teams.  

(41:13-45:37) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake discussing the Chicago Bulls releasing Jaden Ivey yesterday after a series of videos that he has posted.   

(50:37-1:11:08) – Mike DeCourcy from the Sporting News, FOX Sports, and Big Ten Network makes an appearance on the show to preview his decision to retire from covering college basketball full-time, preview the Final Four, highlights a couple of potential storylines about this Final Four, states that the Final Four should be in Indianapolis every single year, relives UConn’s unbelievable comeback win over Duke, and shares some of his favorite memories covering college basketball.  

(1:11:08-1:24:15) – The Chicago Bulls released Jaden Ivey yesterday following a series of videos with one directed towards NBA Pride Night. Jake doesn’t want people to lose perspective on what should be  

(1:24:15-1:34:05) – Hour number two of Query & Company concludes with Jake and Eddie looking at where the Indiana Pacers sit in the NBA standings and their remaining schedule. How many more wins can they afford to have? 

(1:34:05-2:02:35) – The final hour of the show starts with Jake and Eddie highlighting some of the new rules/policies that have been approved by the NFL owners in Phoenix. Jake also comments on what Chris Ballard said yesterday about Anthony Richardson, Daniel Jones, and the approach without a first round pick. 

(2:02:35-2:10:54) – Scott Agness from Fieldhouse Files joins Query & Company to discuss the approach for the Indiana Pacers in the final seven games of the season, how he interpreted the Chicago Bulls decision to release Jaden Ivey yesterday, his perspective on what is going to happen with Bennedict Mathurin this offseason after a month now with the Clippers, and evaluates how Kobe Brown has performed with Indiana. 

(2:10:54-2:19:07) – Today’s show closes out with Jeff Rickard joining Jake Query to preview what he’s got going on this afternoon with JMV out!
