(00:00-28:42) – Query & Company opens on the first day of the greatest month of the year with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing how much fun they had yesterday at The Fan Invitational Golf Outing, last night’s Indiana Fever loss against the Dallas Wings, and the news that Anthony Richardson Sr.’s will not have his fifth-year option picked up by the Indianapolis Colts.

(28:42-43:08) – The Kentucky Derby is this weekend at Churchill Downs, and Jake Query admits that he has developed an appreciation for the race after comparing it to the Indianapolis 500. He makes his official race prediction for this weekend based off a name that really stands out above the rest.   

(43:08-51:09) – The first hour of Query & Company concludes with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing Caitlin Clark’s scary spill last night in the Fever’s second preseason game. Jake goes back to something Stephanie White said on the show yesterday about her superstar when it comes to the way people defend her.  

(51:09-1:21:08) – John Oreovicz joins Jake Query to compare the fallout of the PGA Tour and LIV Golf to what happened with the split between the Indy Racing League and CART. They dive into why LIV Golf has not really worked out, if it can sustain without Saudi money, and evaluate if it even makes sense for some of the richer golfers to go back to the PGA after the money they’ve made. Lastly, they touch on how the season for IndyCar has gone and preview the Indianapolis 500.   

(1:21:08-1:29:47) – Jake opens the phone lines for listeners to share their opinion on the Colts electing to not pick up Anthony Richardson Sr.’s fifth-year option. Who is at fault for this experiment not working?

(1:36:55-2:03:11) – Dick Gabriel from WKYT joins Query & Company to compare the pomp and circumstance leading up to the Kentucky Derby to the Indianapolis 500. They also preview this weekend’s race by talking about who the favorite horses are, if the record for fastest Kentucky Derby will be broken this weekend, and what makes the starting at the post so difficult for some horses. Finally, Jake asks Dick about two of the newest Colts that he covered, Seth McGowan and Jalen Farmer.
