Episode Notes... Being teachable means embracing humility, attentiveness to GOD’S voice, and a willingness to learn from both Scripture and others. Being teachable leads to wisdom, growth, and deeper fellowship with GOD. Many times it leads to open doors as well.

SEEK WISDOM

Proverbs 4:5  Get wisdom; get understanding. Don’t forget and don’t turn away from my words.

John 14:26  “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”

VALUE WISE COUNSEL

Proverbs 15:22  Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.

LISTEN AND RECEIVE INSTRUCTION

Proverbs 19:20  “Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future.”

Psalm 32:8  “Now teach me, and I will be silent; make me understand how I have gone astray.”

PRAY FOR UNDERSTANDING

Psalm 25:4-5  Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the GOD of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.
