Geriatric palliative care and the use of nutraceuticals with Dr Catherine Schuetze

Dr Catherine Schuetze graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 1995. She's had an interest in integrated and herbal medicine since vet school and has pursued training in veterinary acupuncture, energy medicine, herbal medicine and nutraceuticals since then. ⁠

Dr Catherine has spent the large part of her veterinary career in Northern India, Bhutan and Tibet where she helped set up the charity Vets Beyond Borders, coordinating several welfare programs for which she won the 2009 Young Alumni Of the Year Award from the University of Queensland.

Her veterinary clinical focus is in companion animal acupuncture, herbal and integrated medicine, as well as geriatric medicine and palliative care

She is now home in Australia finishing a PhD in traditional Tibetan Veterinary Medicine while practicing at The Natural Vets on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.
