Get Invested: Part 1 - Kate Hill on learning the language of property investment

View descriptionShare

Becoming proficient in property investment is like learning a foreign language, but you can master it, says Kate Hill.

Like marathon runners and migrants from other countries, the traits that separate those that achieve sustainable success in property are those that demonstrate the qualities of curiosity, embracing change and continuous learning, embracing mistakes as learning opportunities not failures, and demonstrating the patience, persistence and resilience to overcome obstacles and last the distance through dogged determination and daily discipline.

Our guest Kate Hill is a shining example of this.

Kate was previously on the show back on episodes 254 and 255, but for those who don't know her she is an avid property investor with many years of firsthand experience buying and researching real estate, and being a Property Coach and Mentor before founding the successful national buyers agency team Advisable.

And I think Advisable is a great name for the business, because it means to be recommended and sensible, which captures it perfectly.

This week we’re going to dig into Kate’s personal journey, and then next week we’re going to deep dive into the intricacies of national buyers agents and her book, The Female Investor.
