Cameron Marshall shares how addiction and heroin sabotaged his life for so long

View descriptionShare

In this week's episode, Casey Scott and Dr. Matt Woolley are joined by Cameron Marshall to talk about growing up in a small town and experimenting with Meth at the age of 12, how addiction has plagued his family since he was born, and why his relationship with his mother deteriorated due to her addiction.

Then he opens up about moving to St. George to live with his dad to pursue a more stable environment, continuing to party while in St. George, and the events that led him to use heroin as a 16-year-old.

Cameron also talks about how his addiction to heroin evolved as he got older, the moment he realized that he needed to get sober, and his six-month-long experience with a Scientology-ran recovery center, only to go back to heroin years later.

Lastly, Cameron opens up about not being able to see his daughter being born while he and his baby's mother were in jail and what finally clicked for him to find the road to recovery.
