The 16 Days of Activism campaign is a crucial annual event, intended to raise awareness of the persistent and pervasive violence against women and children. It serves as a global reminder that such violence remains an ever-present scourge on societies, including South Africa. However, while the campaign is undeniably important, there is a critical need to reflect on its efficacy and deeper societal implications.
