Dignity SA has officially launched a legal challenge in the North Gauteng High Court, aiming to decriminalise medical assistance in dying. During a media briefing in Cape Town, the organisation—alongside other interested parties—announced that it is seeking a Constitutional Court ruling to declare current laws prohibiting assisted dying unconstitutional and invalid.
