Today we are joined by one of the most consequential ministers in the Cabinet — because if there is one promise this democracy made to its people on day one, it was a roof. A house. A place to call your own. Thirty-plus years later, that promise is still being kept for some, still being broken for others, and still being argued about in every township, every informal settlement, and every gap-market neighbourhood from Khayelitsha to Soshanguve.

Inheritance fraud is a growing concern in South Africa, targeting both deceased estates and beneficiaries via scams or forged documents. Common schemes include fraudulent Letters of Executorship (LOE), identity theft, and fake inheritance notifications via SMS/email demanding "fees" to release funds. The Master’s Office is frequently exploited, and scams often target retirement funds and life policies.Helen Du Toit, member of the Association for Savings and Investment South urges the public to be more vigilant)
