The impact of Covid-19 on the justice system

Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Ronald Lamola issued amended directions to address, prevent and combat the spread of Covid-19 in all courts, court precincts and justice service points. As part of the government’s measures to curb the spread of Covid-19, it is reported that only essential justice services will be available at courts between 10 am and 1 pm daily during the national lockdown.
