Miss SA Crowns first Deaf Winner Representation and Inclusion

The Miss SA pageant has over the weekend crowned its first deaf winner, Mia le Roux. The winner, who lives with a disability, says her win is a win for all because she will be able to help those who are "financially excluded and differently abled". Lerato Mbele discusses the element of representation and how the world is becoming more inclusive with Jabu Zwane, Mindset Development Practitioner, Dr. Jerry Gule, former chairperson of South African Employers for Disability, Jamil F. Khan, Author and Critical Diversity Scholar and Pelela Lamani, diversity and inclusion specialist.
