In this week’s edition of the language corner, we introduce Xitsonga, a language rich with history which we will look into in this first episode of the 4-week series on Xitsonga. In this segment, Lukhona Mnguni is joined by Dr Crous Hlungwani, Senior Xitsonga Lecturer at the University of Venda and looks at the history of the language, look at basic ways of communicating, such as greetings and the months of the year.
