The National Assembly is set to return to work to amongst other things do crucial oversight during the Covid-19 lockdown. Parliament through the power vested by the  Constitution is ensures that all executive organs of state at the national level of government are answerable to it, and maintaining oversight over the exercise of national government authority, and the implementation of legislation. This discussion will cover how Parliament will carry out its duties during the Covid-19 lockdown, especially considering that Constituency work would be difficult to carry out during lockdown period.  In addition, we want to speak on some of the measures that the National Assembly will employ for matters such as house sittings.
