South Africa has one of the oldest film industries in the world and has produced an array of award-winning films, TV series, documentaries, and commercials. Over the years, the South African Film industry grew at a competitive rate, producing a long list of award-winning films, TV series, documentaries and commercials including Yesterday, Tsotsi, UCarmen Ekhayelitsha, Hotel Rwanda, Catch a Fire, Lord of War, Blood Diamond, District 9 and Invictus.
