TEACH South Africa is a non-profit organisation that aims to respond to challenges in the education sector by recruiting, training, placing and supporting young exceptional STEM graduates to improve the quality of education for every child in South Africa irrespective of their socio-economic background. TEACH was founded in 2009 as a response to the urgent need for quality teachers for gateway subjects such as Mathematics and Science. Over the last 15 years, we have placed over 760 Ambassadors, in over 416 schools, across all 9 provinces in South Africa. In a historic turn for the African National Congress in Limpopo, Dr. Phophi Ramathuba has been elected unopposed as the province’s first-ever female chairperson. Her ascension to the role took place in the early hours of Saturday morning at the Polokwane Cricket Club, where she officially succeeded the outgoing provincial chairperson, Stanley Mathabatha. In a joint statement issued via the British government, these six nations signalled their readiness to launch coordinated operations designed to secure navigation and stabilize the region’s volatile waters.
