Nomsa Manaka is a well-known Soweto-born dancer, choreographer and actress who runs The Nomsa Manaka Dance Studio operating from the Funda Centre in Diepkloof.. Through her annual Dancing Out Of Cancer initiative, a compelling traditional, urban, and African contemporary dance showcase, she celebrates survivors and raising funds for those who are still fighting cancer. Nomsa has beaten cancer twice, and in 2016 was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer.
