As crime intensifies in the country, Lerato Mbele spoke to KZN police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi who is at the forefront of combating crime across the province. Mkhwanazi said the death rate of police officers in the province has gone up and emphasises that the police will do all it takes to protect officers who die on duty and citizens.
