President Emmanuel Macron convened a Summit on Financing African Economies in Paris on Tuesday. The summit seeks to help Sudan into a new democratic era and provide Africa with critical financing swept away by the COVID-19 pandemic. President Cyril Ramaphosa attended the summit along with representatives from 28 other African countries, China, China, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, UK, US, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
