President Emmanuel Macron convened a Summit on Financing African Economies in Paris on Tuesday. The summit seeks to help Sudan into a new democratic era and provide Africa with critical financing swept away by the COVID-19 pandemic. President Cyril Ramaphosa attended the summit along with representatives from 28 other African countries, China, China, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, UK, US, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. In the next half hour, Lukhona Mguni speaks to the Acting Minister in The Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshaveni and reflects on the summit and how it best advances SA’s economy to be in attendance.
