I’m talking today with the unstoppable Alice Almeida about success, survival and overcoming imposter syndrome. Alice is the founder and managing director of The Amber Network with over 18 years of experience in media across TV, digital and print.  

Having climbed her way to the top of the cut-throat media industry and undergone 5 years of IVF treatment, Alice knows first hand the pressures women face in their careers and personal lives. 

In this episode, Alice Almeida shares her journey navigating her way up the leadership ladder, her struggles, her motivations and her lessons learned. 

We talk about Alice’s long and challenging journey with IVF, the juggle between her career and her private life and how it all became too much to handle. Alice opens up about her struggle with imposter syndrome, feeling as though she was failing in her career and failing as a woman. 

It is estimated that 70% of adults will experience at least one episode of imposter syndrome in their lives. It can be debilitating to constantly doubt and second guess your abilities, especially when it’s something so personal as fertility and IVF. 

Imposter syndrome had completely overwhelmed Alice during this time and her struggles with infertility had defined her identity affecting every other aspect of her life. 

Through working with me inside of the Business Attraction Program, Alice was able to rediscover who she was, love herself again and step into her power. After founding The Amber Network, Alice continues to prove that she is an absolute game changing woman, unafraid to dig deep and step outside her comfort zone.
