Meet Libby Moore Executive Coach, International Speaker and former Chief of Staff to Oprah. We met on a virtual coffee date during lockdown when she was in Toronto and I was in Sydney. 

Libby shares the power of her journey from small town girl with big dreams to working with the world’s best entertainment leaders. 

She got her break working on the Maury Povich show when she was 25 and learnt from him how to ‘do what you love’ - he also loves what he does and has had this show for 30+ years in America, is 83 and still one of the most loved and respected entertainment leaders.

We talk about how we both worked in entertainment - I had a stint at MTV London and Libby with Jann Wenner the Founder of Rolling Stone magazine in New York where she worked alongside his first assistant of 28 years who taught her what it took to manage a publishing magnate's professional and personal life. 

Her ultimate role? Listening and following the signs of life to become Oprah’s Chief of Staff for a decade. 

What was her greatest learning during her time working with Oprah ? “To be yourself at all times with all people to the best of your ability”.
