Women’s and girls’ safety is a critical issue globally, affecting every society, culture, and community. Across the world, many face threats such as gender-based violence, harassment, discrimination, and restricted access to safe public spaces. Ensuring safety is not only a human rights obligation but also essential for building fair and equitable societies. As we observe International Women’s month we are joined by Social Activist and Executive Director at June 16, 1976 Foundation Board, Cathay Yenana to look into how world leader can come together to ensure that women and children are safe.
