June is Men's Mental Health Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about the mental and
emotional wellbeing of men and boys. While conversations around mental health have become more
common, many men still struggle in silence, often feeling pressured to hide their emotions or avoid seeking help. As society continues to rethink traditional ideas of masculinity, there is growing recognition that strength can also mean vulnerability, emotional honesty, and reaching out for support when needed. To unpack this conversation, Clementine Mabena is joined by Babalwa Sigcau, Founder and CEO of Every Boy Child Matters, an organisation dedicated to empowering boys and young men to thrive emotionally, socially, and mentally.
