The Gauteng High Court has ordered the reinstatement of the NSFAS Board, but for students, the
bigger question is, what does this mean for the funding crisis they continue to face. SASF says students are still battling delayed allowances, unpaid accommodation, unresolved appeals and a lack of meaningful student representation in NSFAS structures. The federation is also questioning the governance and performance of the reinstated board. So, what happens next, and can NSFAS finally deliver the stability students desperately need?
