Raised in a family where music was part of everyday life, KatzTheSingR found her voice singing alongside her mother and grandmother. Her early grounding in choral music would go on to shape the vocal control and emotional depth that have become central to her sound. In 2018, she took her talent to The Voice SA, making it through to the Battles, and in 2020, she contributed to Ha ke sa kgone on Project Hope, further expanding her creative journey.

Now, blending neo-soul, R&B and Afro-contemporary influences with live instrumentation, KatzTheSingR creates music that feels deeply personal intimate enough to make you listen closely, but powerful enough to stay with you.

She joins us on the line as we speak about all things life, music and everything else in between.
