It’s been a busy week in entertainment, with big moves in music, a major development in one of hip-hop’s longest-running murder cases, another update on Diddy’s prison sentence, and a first look at what’s coming in the next season of one of Mzansi’s biggest television productions.

Locally, Thabo Smol, best known as one half of Black Motion, is stepping into a new chapter as his solo album, Di Thupa Tsa Smol, goes up for Grammy consideration. Meanwhile, nearly 30 years after Tupac Shakur was shot and killed in Las Vegas, former gang leader Duane “Keffe D” Davis has been sentenced to at least 40 years in prison for the rapper’s murder. And for fans of historical drama, Shaka iLembe has offered a first glimpse of its third season, although South African viewers are still waiting for a confirmed release date. We unpack the stories making headlines in entertainment with Palesa Moditambi who is the Founder of Esa Media and a Celebrity Publicist.
