The Drinks Federation of South Africa (DF-SA) released their economic research report, on the contribution to GDP of the Alcohol Beverage Industry.  While South Africans, according to a DTIC report, are among the heaviest drinkers on the continent, there is at least 73% of the population abstains from alcohol.
