Former apartheid struggle stalwart and human rights lawyer George Bizos has died at age 92.
Bizos was part of the legal team that defended the Rivonia Treason Trialists.
He represented many ordinary citizens and families that were impacted by Apartheid.
When the news of his death was announced Wednesday morning – tributes poured in – acknowledging his contribution to the story of this country.
