In light of the growing calls for transparency, Justice and Constitutional Development Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi faces pressure to release the list of convicted sexual offenders and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) perpetrators in South Africa by Friday. Failure to do so will result in mass action from Build One South Africa (BOSA). We speak to Mfundo Ntandane, a social worker and activist, about the implications of such a list on public safety, accountability, and the role of communities in holding offenders accountable for their actions.
