We get reaction from SADTU spokesperson Nomusa Cembi following the damning ruling against Kensington High School teacher Lindokuhle Siwela. Found guilty of sexually assaulting and harassing multiple Grade 8 learners, an ELRC arbitrator deemed Siwela unfit to work with children. He used threats, made inappropriate comments, and manipulated marks based on appearance. He’s been dismissed, blacklisted under the Children’s Act, and referred to the educators’ council for ethical breaches.
