The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) Council has officially referred 13 alleged instances of financial misconduct—totaling approximately R4.07 billion—to its independent Disciplinary Board. The board will now conduct preliminary investigations into these matters to determine the extent of the wrongdoing and identify responsible parties.
