Joburg City Theatres’ annual Festival of Lights returns to the Joburg Zoo on 27 November 2025, marking 29 years of festive magic. The beloved family event features dazzling light installations, live performances, a kiddies’ corner and a new nativity-scene play at the Farmhouse. This year’s line-up includes Soulful Xplosion led by legendary producer Dr Lindelani Mkhize, alongside top local acts. The festival runs until 4 January 2026, offering music, culture and Christmas cheer under the Zoo sky.
