South Africa is taking steps to strengthen the rights of persons with disabilities through proposed legislation aimed at aligning national law with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). This initiative is centered on the Domestication of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).
