The matric class of 2025 is pleading with the government to ensure there are opportunities that will enable them to participate in the economy meaningfully. 

This is as they transition into higher education following the release of the national senior certificate exam results. 

More than 920,000 candidates across the country took the final exams at the end of 2025.

One of the 2025 Grade 12 cohort at Hoerskool FH Odendaal in Eastlynne, Pretoria, says his commitment and dedication towards his studies show in his results, and a proud mother to Reotshepile Ranamane, a matriculant at Kgetse ya Tsie Secondary school in Hammanskraal, had this to say.
