Sandile Mathebula, also known as Maths-Son, is a teacher at Siphumele High School in Richards Bay who has recently achieved global recognition for his outstanding contributions to math education. Last Saturday, he was awarded the Best Teacher in the Mathematics category at the Global Teacher Awards held in Dubai, where he competed with teachers from 123 different countries.
