Education quality assurer Umalusi says despite Covid-19, there will not be any adjustments to the matric curriculum in order to maintain the quality and currency of the National Senior Certificate. Speaking to Thabiso Tema on the POWER Drive, Umalusi CEO Dr Mafu Rakometsi says 1.1 million candidates will write the matric exams next month as the May/June exams were cancelled and merged with the October/ November exams due to the Covid-19 pandemic. He says Umalusi will ensure the integrity of the exams in order to ensure that the 2020 matriculants are not prejudiced.
