The South African Police Service (SAPS) has dismissed a widely circulated WhatsApp message that warned of a total shutdown in Gauteng. The SAPS stated that this message is fake and intended to mislead communities. Authorities have confirmed that no such shutdown is planned and have reassured residents that law enforcement is fully prepared to maintain order throughout the province.
