Thabiso Kotane was in conversation with Collins Letsoalo, Road Accident Fund (RAF) CEO about The Road Accident Fund says it has over 320 000 in claims backlog that need to be processed and finalised, some dating back to April 2021.

The fund launched its “Drive Your Claim Forward” campaign to deal with the backlog. CEO Collins Letsoalo says the fund has not even met the 20% yearly target of reducing the high number of outstanding claims. He briefed the media today about the issue, saying RAF has only achieved 16% of the 20% it set for itself. He says much of the backlog is caused by outstanding supporting documents.
