Workers' Day is a public holiday in South Africa celebrated on the 1st of May every year. It celebrates the role of Trade Unions and other parties to achieve equal employment standards for everyone. Other countries might refer to the day as Labour Day or May Day.
But whatever you call the day, it has the same purpose - to celebrate all the hard work done by everyone and the importance of every job in society.
