ActionSA to refer Kabelo Gwamanda to Ethics Committee 

Police in Gauteng have seized a cocktail of drugs in Pretoria. It is understood that a team of detectives from the Saps national organised crime investigation narcotics unit discovered a significant quantity of scheduled medicine, steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) at a self-storage facility in Derdepoort, Pretoria. he Joshlin Smith trial adjourned early today because they had to attend an in loco inspection. An inspection in loco is when the court physically looks at a location or area where a crime is alleged to have taken place. Officials alongside the accused, Kelly Smith, her boyfriend, and their friend inspected the shack where the mother lived at the time of Joshlin's disappearance. The Justice & Constitutional development department says it is concerned by hundreds of lawyers being disbarred in the past six years, it does not think the future of the judiciary is in trouble.  In all, 376 lawyers were disbarred from practising between 2019 and January 2025, while 502 were suspended in the same period.
