The City of Tshwane is ramping up efforts to revitalise its decaying inner city through the repurposing of derelict, hijacked and abandoned buildings. And it is considering invoking the Expropriation Act to do so. The MMC Kholofelo Morodi has identified 32 buildings for urgent intervention, which include HB Phillips Buildings, the Pretoria Showgrounds, the House 22 Precint and the Melgisedek Building.   Thabiso Kotane speaks to Tshwane MMC for Corporate and Shared Services, Kholofelo Morodi.
