It's a struggling retail market and this week Edcon CEO Grant Pattison - CEO since May 2017 - announced the sale of its 104-store Edgars Active and High Key chain to Cape Town-based retailer Footgear. The deal will see all Edgars Active and High Key stores being rebranded under Footgear over several months. Ron Derby was in conversation with Pattison about the deal.
